Billie L. Stepheny

Billie L. Stepheny, 37, of Brooklyn, New York, died Monday, October 2, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinic.

A service will be held Friday, October 13, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12^th Street, Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Family for a fund to be established.

Billie Lee Stepheny was born February 13, 1986, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Billie Warren and Patricia Motes. He went on to become a member of the House of DuMure Versailles, where he modeled and was later crowned Miss Black Urban Pride. He had a passion for performing drag & competing in pageants around the world, playing in a football league, and cooking for his friends & family. Above all else he enjoyed spending time with his dog, Shilo.

He is survived by his parents; siblings, Lamont Stepheny, Sharon (Alphonse) Martin, Patrice Allen, and Towanda Stepheny, who was like a sister; grandmother, Ledora McLean; godson, La’Meirre Stepheny; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, & nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lola Davis.
