Beverly V. Savignano, 81, of Sun City West, Arizona, formerly of East Moline, Illinois, beloved wife and mother, departed this Earth in the arms of God, May 8, 2006, at McKee Medical Center Hospice Unit, Loveland, Colorado.
A celebration of her life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Friday, May 12, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, 601-21st Street, Moline, Thursday May 11, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Beverly will be buried along side her husband Paul at the National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 1330 ? 13th Street, Moline, IL 61265 or Hospice of Larimer County, 305 Carpenter Rd., Ft. Collins, CO 80524.
Bev was born July 21, 1924 in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Louis and Eleanor (Sayer) Webster. She was a graduate of Moline High School, and then attended Trinity School of Nursing in Moline. At this time she met and married her husband Paul on May 20, 1944, in Moline. During her husband?s working years, she lived in many places throughout the world, including 5 years in Zweibrucken, Germany.
Bev was a current member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Sun City West, and a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline. Bev and Paul loved traveling world wide and learning about different cultures. She especially loved Bridge and enjoyed playing golf. Most of all, she enjoyed her family and her grandchildren.
She is survived by three children and spouses: Paul and Jilane Savignano of East Moline, IL, Kathy and Dennis Nimetz of Windsor, CO, and Jon and Kristi Savignano of Littleton, CO; five grandchildren, Paul Savignano of Pacific Beach, CA, Mark Savignano of Longmont, CO, Matt Nimetz of Durango, CO, Anne Nimetz of Denver, CO, and Nicolas Savignano of Littleton, CO; one great-grandchild, Cameron Nimetz of Durango, CO; and one sister Jackie Cappelli of Carlsbad, CA. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Paul and her parents.
