Betty M. Bogart Hamm, 86, of East Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.

There will be no public services. Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, is assisting the family, with cremation taking place at Trimble Crematory.

The former Betty M. Bogart was born December 7, 1928, in Moline, the daughter of Clayton L. and Luella F. (Williams) Bogart. She married Lyle Gentry, and later married Tom Hamm.

She worked as a waitress in various establishments in Moline, Rock Island, Missouri, and California. She had a beautiful voice, singing at the Col Ballroom in her younger years.

Survivors include three brothers, William (Lenora) Bogart of Rock Island, Illinois, Jerry (Myrtle) Bogart of Bettendorf, Iowa, and John (Jan) Bogart of Fulton, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Bud and Don, and sisters, Marilyn and Sally.
