Betty J. Davis, 82, of Milan, Illinois, died Sunday, February 17, 2019, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, Illinois.

Private services will be held at Faith Fellowship Baptist in Milan. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.

The former Betty Jean Cummings was born December 21, 1936, in Monmouth, Illinois, the daughter of Marvin and Doris (Hoskins) Cummings. She married Paul Davis, and the couple had two children together. She worked at Bonnett Wholesale Florist in Milan for many years, retiring at the age of 73.

Her church and family were the most important things to Betty. She also loved dancing, music, and vanilla shakes.

Betty is survived by two daughters, Diane (John) Kiss of Davenport, Iowa, and Kim (Ken) Foster of Milan; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; sisters, Karen (Jim) Bethurem of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Kathy (Jason) House of Arizona, and Mary Lowry of Rock Island; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved dog, Chelsea, and her ex-husband, Paul Davis.
