Betty A. York

Betty A. York, 79, formerly of Moline, Illinois, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 22, 2021, in her home in Gilbert, Arizona with her family by her side.

She was born to the late Raymond and Ellen (Garrison) York, September 17, 1941, in Moline, Illinois. She attended Moline High School and graduated in 1959. She married John Kish, with whom she had two daughters, Renee and Tracy. She was a proud John Deere employee for over 30 years. After retirement in 2001, she moved to Arizona to be closer to daughters and of course, mild winters.

She was an active volunteer with CASA of Arizona and UMOM New Day Center for many years. She was a member of local book, card, and travel clubs. Her favorite pastime was spending quality time with family and close friends and attending granddaughter, Isabela, extracurricular activities.

She is survived by two daughters, Tracy Kish (Michael Del Giorgio) of Costa Mesa, California, and Renee Kish of Gilbert, Arizona; a granddaughter, Isabela Kish; and siblings, Edward York and Donna Knudtson. She was preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Ellen York.
