Port Byron, Illinois Bethine Hall, 77, of Port Byron, Illinois, died Friday, November 30, 2001, in Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island, Illinois. Private services are 10 a.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Entombment is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the University of Iowa Hospital Heart Clinic, Iowa City, Iowa. The former Edith Bethine Kilbane was born May 13, 1924, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Edith (Davis) Kilbane. She married Charles Dawson Hall on December 6, 1945, in Omaha, Nebraska. He died October 20, 2000. Bethine worked as a welder during WW II. The couple moved to the Quad Cities in 1957. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, shopping, working in her yard, cooking, and traveling. Bethine is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia S. and Thomas Hender of Moline; a son and daughter-in-law, Patrick K. and Kathy Hall of Moline; and four grandchildren, Charles D. Hender, Katie J. Hall, Daniel P. Hall, and Kyle Michael Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Michael Frank Hall, who died November 9, 1996.
