Belinda K. Wilson

Belinda K. Wilson, 73, of Moline, Illinois, died Monday, September 4, 2023, at St. Anthony’s Nursing & Rehab, Rock Island, Illinois after a long illness.

A memorial service may be held at a future date.  Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

The former Belinda Kathleen Brobst was born January 25, 1950, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Norman Smith and Mary Rachel (Davis) Brobst.

Belinda was a gifted violinist as a child and had a lifelong love of music.  

Belinda attended Coal Valley Elementary, the last year of Coal Valley Junior High, Woodrow Wilson Junior High, and Moline High School. 

She is survived by daughter Jami Bassie, sons Sean Youngquist and Larry Wilson Jr, brothers Vaughn Brobst (Rushville, Ohio) and Kevin Brobst (Oreana, Il), half-sister Trena Diebert (Ohio), several nieces and nephews and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ival Brobst and Mark Brobst, and sister Janet (Brobst) Scott.
