Barbara L. Dell

Barbara L. Dell, 58, of LeClaire, Iowa, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 15, 2016, in her home, after a courageous nine year battle with lung cancer.

Cremation will be directed by Cremation Society of the Quad Cities, Moline, Illinois. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, LeClaire, on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at 11:15 a.m. Friends may greet the family from 10 a.m. to service time with a gathering after the service in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

The former Barbara Lynn Brown was born October 5, 1957, in Davenport, Iowa, to Wayne Glen and Diana Rose (Carter) Brown. She had been employed by CRST Trucking.

Survivors include her mother, Diana Brown of LeClaire; sons, Brandon (Trish) Quigley of Bellevue, Nebraska, and Josh Dell of Healy, Alaska; a step-daughter, Staci Nicholson of Bettendorf, Iowa; grandson, Noah Quigley, step-granddaughters, Ashley and Erin Nicholson; sisters, Vicky (Steve) Barnard of Lutz, Florida, and Gloria Gravert, of LeClaire; brothers, Kenny (Brenda) Brown of Bettendorf, Rick Brown of Dahinda, Illinois, and Andrew Kevin of Davenport; ten nieces and nephews; and 19 great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne; brother, Wayne Jr.; and sister, Cindy Kleckner.

Barbara's family would like to thank the staff at Genesis Hospice, especially Rita, Bethany, and Cheryl, and her special caregiver and cousin, Polly Carter.
