Moline, Illinois Services for Barbara J. Henderson, 71, of Moline, are 11:30 a.m. Friday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. The Reverend Dr. Kenneth Kline will officiate. Burial is in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, Moline, where she was a member. Mrs. Henderson died Saturday, December 22, 2001, in Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island. The former Barbara Jean Halferty was born October 10, 1930, in Chariton, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond J. and Martha Virginia (Smith) Halferty. She attended Chariton, Iowa, schools and married Harvey F. Henderson on May 1, 1948, in Iowa City, Iowa, He died January 28, 1999. She was employed at RIMCO , Rock Island, for ten years. Barbara was a busy and devoted grandmother who was always ready to help her family. She will be greatly missed by her cat, Velvet, and her many friends. She especially valued the friendships she made with the nurses at cardiac rehab and the pulmonary therapist at Trinity Medical Center. Barbara is survived by a son and his fiancee, Harvey A. Henderson and Joyce Avey of Moline; two daughters and sons-in-law, Alice and Patrick Versluis of Moline, and Brenda and Tim Jones of Carbon Cliff; four grandchildren, Dawn Minney, Tracy Farr, Shawna Kupperschmid, and Jody Day; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Gladys Webb of San Diego, California, and JoAnn MaCaffrey of Ramona, California; and half-brothers, Tony Nicoletto of Bettendorf, and Carlo Nicoletto of Davenport.
