Elvira McIntyre, 69, of Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, September 10, 2009, in Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.
Per her wishes, Elvira?s body has been donated to the University of Iowa for medical research. There will be no services. Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is assisting the family.
Elvira Bertha McIntyre was born June 27, 1940, in Moline, the daughter of Albert and Alvira (Morgan) McIntyre. She was a data clerk for the Rock Island Arsenal, retiring in 2005.
Elvira is survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Alberta and Carlyle Lanham of Port Byron, Illinois, and Bonnie and John Bugno of Maryland, and many nieces and nephews.
