Austin M. Otts

Austin M. Otts, 22, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 12, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with Rev. Donald Bailey officiating. Visitation is 9:00 a.m. until time of services. Private burial is in Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Austin’s memory.

Austin Michael Otts was born July 4, 2002, the son of Amy Jones and Jimmy Otts. He graduated from North Scott High School and worked for UPS.

Austin will always be remembered for telling jokes and making people laugh. He enjoyed playing soccer, video games, watching football (he was an avid Kansas City Chiefs’ fan), and he especially loved the 4th of July and fireworks in general. He also liked traveling and going to concerts. Above all else, Austin loved spending time with his mother and brother and their family.

Austin is survived his beloved mother and her boyfriend, Amy Jones and Michael Daily of Davenport; his brother, Brandin Jones and Brandin’s fiancé, Brittany Spotts; his father, Jimmy (Suzanne) Otts and Jimmy’s children, Dylan Otts, Dakota Otts, Melissa (Marco) Dunham, and Joshua Phillips. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Marilyn “Sweet Pea” Otts.
