Arthur G. Schultz, 76, of Colona, Illinois, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, in his home.

There will be no public services. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is assisting the family.

Arthur Gerald Schultz was born February 2, 1938, in Rock Island, Illinois, the son of Arthur John and Luella Sophie (Stratman) Schultz. He married Joyce R. Clark Kittelson on July 15, 1988, in Jellico, Tennessee.

He worked for Moline Tool International and later International Harvester as a machine repairman, retiring in 1994. After retirement, he and his wife started A&J Antiques, and he loved every minute of it until retiring from the business in 2010 due to health issues. He just loved restoring antique furniture.

Art is survived by his wife, Joyce Schultz, of Colona; a daughter and son-in-law, Jana and Craig Smiddy of Moline; a son, Gerald Schultz of Davenport; a grandson and his wife, J.D. and Sarah Schultz of Moline; a brother, Larry Schultz of El Mirage, Arizona; and good friends, Robert, Ed, and Bill. He was preceded in death by his parents.
