Anne V. Ringquist, 99, of Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, September 12, 2012, in Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church, Moline, with The Reverend Dan Buck officiating. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Visitation is one hour before the services at the church. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the church.
Anne Vernetta Ringquist was born December 13, 1912, in Moline, the daughter of Carl John and Ella Victoria Isaacson Ringquist. She received her masters degree from Western Illinois University, and was employed by Moline School District #40 for 40 years as an elementary teacher at Erickson, Irving, and Washington schools, retiring in 1977. She was a member of Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church, a life time member of Delta Kappa Gamma and Kappa Delta Pi Sororities, and enjoyed cooking, sewing, and woodworking.
Anne is survived by nieces and nephews, Burt and Virginia Ringquist of Parrish, Florida, Jack and Betty Ringquist of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Jim and Janet Ringquist of Grand Marais, Minnesota, John and Ann Ringquist of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Joyce and Reid Horle of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and Jean Moilien of Westby, Wisconsin; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Marie Ringquist; brothers, Mauritz, Clarence, and John ?Wes? Ringquist; and nephews, Delmar and Bruce Ringquist.
