Alfredo Castillo Rodriguez

Alfredo “El Patron” Castillo Rodriguez, 66, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Friday, December 16, 2022, at Trinity Rock Island.

Services are Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Burial is to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Rock Island, Illinois. Visitation will take place Tuesday, December 27, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home.

Alfredo Castillo Rodriguez was born August 15, 1956, in Guadalupito (Matehuala SLP) Mexico, the son of Juan and Soledad (Rodriguez) Castillo Mata.

He enjoyed traveling to Mexico and working on his house, working in his yard and doing projects, and spending time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren and brothers. He loved his animals, especially his chihuahua, Panchito. He was known as being a handyman, for his songs, and listening to music.

Alfredo is survived by his wife, Irene Castillo Torres; children, Jose (Micaela) Alfredo Castillo, Cesar Alfanso Castillo, and Roberto Castillo; grandchildren, Brandon, Cesar, Isabel, Caren Janett, Cesar Alfanso Castillo Badillo, Hugo, Antonio, Alicia, Aurelio, Angel, Nancy, Alejandro, Liliana, and Ivan; siblings, Hilda Castillo, Alberto Castillo, Ramiro Castillo, Santiago Castillo, Amparo Castillo, Aurelio Castillo, and Rigoberto Castillo; very close special friends, Angelica and Octavio Raya, and their three kids, Jessica, Junior, and Eduardo. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Hugo Castillo.
