Todd A. Thorp, 51, of East Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, August 21, 2008, in Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus, Silvis, Illinois.
Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Cremation will follow the visitation and interment will be in Oakdale Cemetery, Geneseo, Illinois.
Todd Allen Thorp was born January 22, 1957, in Moline, the son of Donald and Charlotte (Towne) Thorp. Prior to his disability, he was a machine operator at John Deere Harvester Works, East Moline, and worked at the East Moline Correction Center.
Todd is survived by his mother, Charlotte, which whom he resided in East Moline; three brothers, Steve Thorp of Topeka, Kansas, Mike Thorp of Forest Park, Illinois, and Timothy Thorp and his wife Sue of New Boston, Illinois; two nieces and their husbands, Stacy and Brian Roller of Homestead, Iowa, and Lisa and Ryan Koplin of Iowa City, Iowa; four great-nieces and two great-nephews.
