Moline, Illinois Suzanne Fawcett Snow, 101, formerly of Moline, died Sunday, January 23, 2005, at Illini Restorative Care Center, Silvis. Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Episcopal Church, Moline, where she was a member. The Right Reverend Keith L. Ackerman, Bishop of Quincy, will be the Celebrant at the Requiem Mass. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial of cremains will be in Graceland Cemetery, Chicago. Memorials may be made to the church or a favorite charity. Arrangements are by Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Althea Suzanne Fawcett was born October 26, 1903, in Chicago, the daughter of Edward and Esther Luvina Faul Fawcett. She was raised in Quincy, Illinois, and graduated from St. Mary's School, Galesburg. She attended Knox College and graduated from Radcliffe College. Suzanne married Edwin James Snow on August 8, 1936, in Quincy. He died February 16, 1952. Suzanne was employed by her father, the Bishop of Quincy, and later at the Quincy Free Public Library and the Moline Public Library, retiring in 1966. Suzanne was a member of the Altar Guild of the church, Episcopal Church Women, Chapter IS of P.E.O. Sisterhood, Delta Delta Delta Sorority, the Katherine Butterworth Circle of Kings' Daughters, and the Fortnightly Club. Suzanne is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Edwin F. and Mary Snow of Crestwood, Kentucky, and James Todd Snow of Berkeley, California; two grandchildren and their spouses, John and Cheryll Snow and Cynthia and Conrad Nickell, and a great-grandson, Quinn Nickell, all of Louisville, Kentucky.
