Shirley A. Letterman, 68, of Coal Valley, Illinois, died Friday, January 5, 2007, in her home.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday in Coal Valley Church of the Nazarene. Burial is in Coal Valley Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Coal Valley. Memorials may be made to the family.
The former Shirley Ann Warfield was born March 25, 1938, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Virgil and Flora (Cato) Warfield. She married Sammy Joe Letterman on November 3, 1956, in Rock Island, Illinois. He died February 24, 1990.
Shirley is survived by three children, Rene Wise of East Moline, Tammy Letterman of Coal Valley, and Shon Letterman and his wife Rhonda of East Moline; 9 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Kehl of Davenport; and a brother, Charles Warfield of Bettendorf. She was preceded in death by her husband and a granddaughter.
